I am just an ordinary (not rich) guy who managed to afford to buy himself an aeroplane. I never thought in a million years I would be able to , although I really wanted one. Let me tell you a little about myself

My name is John Crabb. Here is a picture of me so you can judge whether I am an honest, trustworthy citizen or not. I am English, and live in the South West of England. I am married with two almost grown sons - one of them I am currently supporting at college, I will be doing the same for the younger next year. My wife works part time and I have a research job at a university (where I work), and it is not particularly well paid. I run a nine year old car, own two pairs of shoes and a ridiculously expensive leather pilot jacket, which I bought in a moment of weakness when I was day-dreaming of flying. My income just about covers my outgoings and I am not the sort of person who you would think of owning an aeroplane, but I do. The reason is that I have passion for flying. Often, when we come up against a cliff like I did, we believe that it is impossible to climb up and reach the object of our desires. There is no unrealistic magic here. We just have to take a long hard look at what we have, what we want and where our priorities really lie.
